Haiku I love you
Accepting the grief
Never thought it could happen
Beautiful Mourning
In my heart always
You'll always be my mother
No matter how long
It's been a while
since I've felt an acceptance
that allows my heart
To complete access
physically you're gone, I know
never forgotten
I see you in her
in her smile and in her eyes
My daughter and you
Both envelope me
In love and joy never lost
no matter how long.
Go here or here for Mr.Linky (these 'kuers rock)...to add your own piece of artful writing.
To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:
1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What’s a haiku, you ask? Click here.
2. Sign the Mister Linky at the above link with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your generic blog URL). We will delete your link if it doesn’t go to a haiku. If you need help with this, contact Christina.
3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button above.

How beautiful. I love your haiku and your tribute. Very touching.
ReplyDeleteThis really touched my heart. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHow fortunate you are to have a daughter to have our own wonderful mother/daughter relationship as you did with your mom.
Beautiful!
That is so touching. Nicely written.
ReplyDeleteI got chills as I stared at your beautiful mom's photo.
ReplyDeleteI believe it's impossible to get to a point where you are ever "right" with losing someone you love so much but the pain can certainly be eased. I love that you've found that "beautiful mourning" place.
I'd like to think that your Mom and my Dad are hanging , keeping one another company ...and chatting about their amazingly strong kids ;)
Aw. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are continuing this newfound acceptance; it must be like a huge weight lifted off your shoulders and from your heart.
