Haiku Miss You

Haiku Friday

19 years have passed
Hasn't gotten easier
Longing just as strong

Go here or here for Mr.Linky (these 'kuers rock)...to add your own piece of artful writing.

To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:

1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What’s a haiku, you ask? Click here.

2. Sign the Mister Linky at the above link with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your generic blog URL). We will delete your link if it doesn’t go to a haiku. If you need help with this, contact Christina.

3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button above.

It is now summer. A time to step forward and enjoy the breeze, the sun, walks and your husband and daughter!

    Hang in there!

  2. I don't know the background, but I can feel the sentiment in my heart about my own experiences with losses that still hurt years on because some are that deep. This speaks to me in a beautiful way, and I hope that you are being gentle with yourself. Really, this touched me.

  4. This is my first visit, so like Maggie, I don't know your story. But, this was a beautiful poem and I feel your longing. I'm sorry.

  6. I'm sure you miss her. Not having a mom when you need one really sucks.

  7. My favorite haiku of the week... beautiful and painful all at once. (Hugs)

  8. I personally don't believe it's supposed to get easier. But, that being said, I think people learn to cope and deal in their own ways.

I think, in some way, that perhaps your blogging has helped you to cope and deal with it.
