Punishment can suck
Sorry you lost privileges
Talking back, no good
Maybe now you know
Talk back = take away
What you love the most
Being fresh to me
No swimming Monday for sure
Why do you talk back?
Talking back today?
Your Care Bears are put away
You'll earn them back, yes.
By showing respect
and listening when I talk
DON'T make me repeat.
Having the last word
Isn't always the best way
Being right? Uh Uh.
You're not always right
You're only 4 for crap's sake
I DO KNOW WHAT'S BEST
Maybe now you'll know
Your last word = punished
Who's got the last word?
Me.
Sorry you lost privileges

Go here or here for Mr.Linky (these 'kuers rock)...to add your own piece of artful writing.
To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:
1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What’s a haiku, you ask? Click here.
2. Sign the Mister Linky at one of the above chickie's blogs with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your generic blog URL). We will delete your link if it doesn’t go to a haiku. If you need help with this, contact Christina.
3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button above.
Roaming trying to figure out what to 'ku about...feeling a little lost without our theme, and I feel like I stepped into my house reading your 'kus LOL That is exactly what goes on here! LOL
ReplyDeletePreach on....sister!
ReplyDeleteMomma ALWAYS wins! :)
you GO, girl!!!!
ReplyDeletewhat you let her get away with now will bite you in the ass when she is a teen.
you are WAY on the right path!
Both of mine get things taken away on such a regular basis that now they've just started handing them over. I'm beginning to think I need a new strategy.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Fabulous haiku!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, awesomeness. I am totally smiling and loving this. Especially the last little one word hanging out there speaking the truth. Beautifully done. :)
ReplyDeletehoo boy, this does not bode well for teenagerdom!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you! I hate talking back. If there's anything worse than it in a 4 year old, it's talking back from an 8 year old, a 12 year old, you get the point. Kuddos to you for holding your ground and teaching her right and wrong.
ReplyDeleteHang in there; I know it's frustrating!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend :)

Nice 'ku! Hope she learns quick!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes putting your foot down is what needs to be done. Hoping that the weekend brings you much happiness (for both of you!)
Your 4yr old sounds like my 4yr old. It's a constant battle.
ReplyDeleteSame goes on here. Although I have taken to fining them a quarter each time they do it. Since they are both little mercenaries, losing money really hurts. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat 'ku!
HA! you rock. Go mom!!
ReplyDeleteI need to print this off for my 13 year old; I would just need to say computer instead of Care Bears.:)
ReplyDeleteGood job, Mom.
ReplyDelete:)
Not the Care Bears!!!!! Not the Care BEars!!!
ReplyDeleteNo seriously I hear you. My son is a back talking maniac and I hate it.
