There is so much I've missed since I've gone back to work. All the great bloggers I've been missing out on. My google reader is exploding with new posts and I sure has hell can't keep up with it all.
Who do I continue to follow? Where will I find time to keep up with the reading? Who really cares that I'm back. I feel like I've abandoned all of my internet friends.
I'm sorry.

My suckage is immeasurable. Gah.
We all take breaks from our blogs for one reason or another...that's understandable. But, what's interesting to me is how very much I miss blogbuds I've never really officially met when I can't blog visit or post anything.

Girl, you know we're all still around! Well, I imagine most of us are, anyway. Honestly, I get more fun out of Facebook these days than my blog. (but still enjoy both, so I still update the blog and try to 'work' it!)
ReplyDeleteSo I can catch you up on me in a nutshell: my kids are both in High School. My oldest son is bringing his first car home with him at the end of the month, when their visit with their dad is over. And I had to semi-retire my long-time daily driver Mustang. Her new sibling? An '02 Beetle. LOVE HER!!
Glad you were able to get to the beach. That sounds like the most relaxing, perfect day!
Belle, I LOVE your Beetle. I've seen it on Facebook. I am so excited for you. I've ALWAYS wanted one. Enjoy her. And enjoy your boys when they get back. I know you miss them when they're gone!
ReplyDeleteI think about 80% of my original blogging buddies are gone. Then there are a few like you, who have popped back in. I keep track on bloglines.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even leave and come back and I can't keep up with it all. I like to think the blog world is like soap operas. If you miss a bunch of episodes you still have no trouble quickly figuring out what you missed!
