Haikey Haikah Haiku

Haiku Friday

I've professed my love
even to my girl

I've mourned through my loss
as a "motherless mother"
I've laughed and I've cried

I've written to bugs
It's your turn now dear...

How I love my phone
It has so many features
and it still makes calls
The applications
keep me busy at doctors.
Internet, yes sir

Can't live without you
"3G" and "push", "up to date"
iPhone, te amo!

Go here or here for Mr.Linky (these 'kuers rock)...to add your own piece of artful writing.

To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:

1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What’s a haiku, you ask? Click here.

2. Sign the Mister Linky at one of the above chickie's blogs with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your generic blog URL). We will delete your link if it doesn’t go to a haiku. If you need help with this, contact Christina.

3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button above.

  1. My husband and boys would have wanted to sit by you at the doctor's office.:)
They all would love an iPhone. ;)

  4. Heh. Jealousy ++
Since I moved to Belgium I've been using an old cell phone from my bf's parents. If I'm lucky the 2 and 5 buttons only fall off while dialing rather than just randomly in my backpack.
    Sigh

  5. Well, that caught me by surprise, to say the least. But, I guess if I had such a fancy phone, I might feel that way too.

    :)

  6. My hat's off to you. I can't get anything with the Apple logo on it to work!

  7. Your phone looks truly lovely.

Our doctor was "show and telling" his fancy phone to my youngest son and I recently. He especially enjoys a feature that identifies any music that might be playing wherever he is. I forget what that feature is called. Have you tried that, too?

  8. I had to go back to read your posts about your mom because my mom died when I was in college, and I feel a connection with those in our boat (though you were a bit younger), and you touched my heart. I do not have an iPhone, but they sure are sexy, and it made for a cute and fun haiku!

  9. We really wanted an iphone this year, but we are waiting. Instead, Hubby bought me the new 24" super-dooper imac! It's not portable, but I still love it all the same.

  12. When I worked in an office, I was always the go-to person for computer problems. THe i-phone terrifies me. I can barely handle the one that takes pictures in addition to dialing numbers.
